Andrew is the son of the 2005 and 2006 winner Digger Carlson.
Eric Kalmes finished second in 2005.

Laura Carlson also won the event in 2006 and is the mother of Andrew Carlson.

The Rookery Run is a beautiful out-and-back course through Anoka County Parks. The race starts near Centerville Beach and runs through woods and wetlands along a paved trail. The trail loops at Reshanau Lake and finishes back at the beach. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishes in seven different age groups for males and females. Every runner will receive a Rookery Run T-shirt. Cost is $20.

A kids fun run (ages 12 and under, no medals) will be about 1/2 mile. This race starts after the 5 K while we tabulate results. Each child gets a t-shirt.
